Job description

The Marketing Coordinator will assist with the planning, direction, andcoordination of marketing initiatives to improve the credit union's competitiveposition, consistent with its mission. To Design, develop, and delivermarketing promotions and programs through digital and traditional mediums tosupport expansion and growth of the credit union's initiatives.
Hours:This is a full time position (40 hours a week). Shifts for this role willgenerally fall between 8:30am-5:00pm, but may require occasional flexibility inevenings and weekends for marketing-related events.
This position will be in-office full-time.
KeyResponsibilities
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing marketing campaigns.
  • Manage campaign timelines and project deliverables.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support organizational goals.
  • Design marketing materials including digital ads, social media graphics, flyers, brochures, signage, and more.
  • Ensure all materials align with SharePoint Credit Union's brand standards.
  • Support creative development for marketing campaigns and promotions.
  • Design and build email campaigns.
  • Assist with website updates and content.
  • Create, schedule, and manage content across social media platforms.
  • Write and create visual content that drives engagement.
  • Monitor social media trends and recommend new content opportunities.
  • Plan, film, edit, and publish video content for social media.
  • Capture photos and videos at credit union and community events.
  • Coordinate marketing support for community events, sponsorships, and financial education initiatives.
  • Attend all designated credit union events and community activities.
  • Assist with event logistics, vendor coordination, setup, and promotion.
  • Support all departments with marketing needs and request.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
Experience: 2-5 years of marketing experience. Experience in a credit union, banking, or financial services environment strongly preferred.
Skills:
  • Strong graphic design skills with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
  • Experience with social media management and content creation.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms.
  • Experience creating and editing video content.
  • Comfortable appearing on camera and conducting interviews.
  • Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and digital advertising.
  • Photography and videography experience.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms.
