POSITION OVERVIEW:
You will represent one of the top-tier brands in the HVAC distribution channel for US Air Conditioning Distributors, promoting the company's portfolio in the Southern California markets. You will be part of a highly motivated, winning team, fostering an inclusive and positive environment. You will be responsible for the profitable share of market (SOM) growth in the assigned markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and develop local market sales, providing guidance, training, and support to exceed annual financial plan and SOM growth targets.
  • Contribute as an integral part of the Area Leadership team, developing business strategy and implementing growth plans.
  • Thoughtfully lead market pricing to increase market share and realize margin growth.
  • Handle all aspects of Commercial projects, including large multi-family, single-family new construction, commercial Rooftop Units, and VRF projects.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining critical relationships within the commercial community, including mechanical contractors, national/regional builders, and engineering firms dealing with commercial projects.
  • Build and grow key distributor relationships synergistically to the growth of Unitary, Ductless, and Commercial products.
  • Manage the local line card of the non-JCI products necessary to meet customer project needs.
  • Identify profitable growth strategies and opportunities, working with the US Air Conditioning Distributors team and Sales Director to execute.
  • Develop and implement, with approval and guidance of the York Direct Marketing Manager, program packages to drive profitable SOM growth, including advertising, promotions, trips, and meetings, and other marketing strategies as appropriate.
  • Work directly with Operations Manager to manage (either directly or indirectly) store transactional accuracy and efficiency, including inventory management, logistics, and local tendering.
  • Work closely with the Sales Director to provide market planning and overall area support.
  • Closely manage, in coordination with the credit department, customer credit lines and accounts receivable, handling cash flow.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years’ successful field sales experience
  • 5+ years’ successful field management experience
  • HVAC industry experience
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
