Job description

About Us
Life Science Connect (LSC) is a community-driven data-enabled media and engagement platform serving professionals across the life sciences industry.
Our digital newsletters, content platforms, and reader data infrastructure exist for one purpose: to inform, connect, and support life science professionals in their work. This engaged, high-quality audience is the foundation of everything we do — and the asset that ultimately enables advertiser partnerships – which fuels our topline growth.
The Role
Life Science Connect (LSC) is seeking a strategic, email marketing operational leader to run the commercial execution engine behind our audience lifecycle. If you’re an expert in email operations, campaign fulfillment, and segmentation—and you love building scalable, disciplined systems—this is the seat where your work directly drives revenue.
Our audience of life science professionals is our core asset. Your job: ensure that every campaign, newsletter, and content promotion reaches the right reader at the right time, with flawless execution and airtight compliance.
What You'll Lead

Campaign & List Operations
  • Own commercial list management and “smart circulations” that auto‑refresh and maintain strict hygiene
  • Execute audience segmentation for advertiser campaigns
  • Manage sponsored sends, co‑reg programs, and all list‑based fulfillment with rigorous QC
Sending Governance & Compliance
  • Define and enforce cross‑portfolio sending rules to prevent fatigue
  • Maintain suppression integrity across all systems with zero tolerance for errors
  • Coordinate a unified sending calendar across brands and teams
Newsletter & Email Operations
  • Oversee templates, deployment, QA, and A/B testing across the newsletter portfolio
  • Implement dynamic content capabilities and mobile‑first rendering standards
  • Build and maintain performance benchmarks and share actionable insights
Deliverability & QA
  • Standardize pre‑send QA: seed tests, rendering checks, spam filtering, link validation
  • Monitor inbox placement, reputation, bounces, and complaints
  • Ensure personalization logic is correct before every send
Campaign Fulfillment & Digital Advertising Ops
  • Run end‑to‑end fulfillment for sponsored newsletters, promotions, and content‑driven campaigns
  • Establish SLAs and repeatable workflows that ensure consistency and high‑quality delivery
  • Oversee and integrate programmatic digital advertising operations
Advertiser Reporting
  • Produce reporting packages that validate delivery, performance, and contracted fulfillment
  • Lead quarterly circulation audits and provide transparent documentation to support renewals
What You Bring
  • 5+ years in email operations, campaign fulfillment, or circulation management
  • Experience in B2B media or publishing strongly preferred
  • Expertise with marketing automation platforms (Marketo preferred)
  • Deep knowledge of deliverability, segmentation, and large‑scale newsletter operations
  • Proven ability to build operational processes
  • Proven experience in leading a marketing team
  • Background in life sciences, healthcare, or complex B2B industries is a plus

Why This Role Matters
This isn’t a tactical “email deployer” role.
It’s the operational hub of our commercial model.
You’ll take enriched, segmented B2B audiences—and turn them into revenue through precise, compliant, scalable campaign execution. You’re building the factory that powers advertiser satisfaction, renewal, and growth.

We Invest in YOU
At Life Science Connect, our commitment to empowering innovation and facilitating growth within the life sciences sector extends to our employees. We offer a comprehensive total compensation program designed to support your overall health, financial well-being, and professional development.

In addition to a competitive salary, you'll enjoy:

  • Medical/vision/prescription/dental coverage for you and your family

  • 100% company-paid short- and long-term disability insurance

  • 100% company-paid life insurance

  • 401(k) with dollar-for-dollar company match up to 6%

  • 15 vacation days and 6 personal days on day 1

  • 13 company-paid holidays

We do not offer visa sponsorship for this role.
