Job description

This is a temporary position. 

JOB SUMMARY

As a FLEX Manager, Ad Solutions you will play an important role in Marriott's future by supporting the implementation and execution of advertising solutions across MARRIOTT MEDIA, Marriott's fast-growing commerce media network. You will be responsible for translating product direction into scalable, operational solutions by managing how advertising capabilities are implemented, launched, and maintained across channels.

Reporting into the Sr. Director, Ad Solutions, you will oversee the day-to-day management of advertising products across onsite (web, app, email), offsite (programmatic & paid social), and on-property media channels. This includes coordinating product launches, managing technical dependencies, and ensuring platforms, tools, and workflows are functioning effectively to support campaign execution and performance.

You will act as a key connector between Product, Ad Operations, Sales, and Engineering, ensuring that advertising solutions are clearly defined, properly implemented, and consistently executed. You will manage timelines, drive delivery of product enhancements, and take ownership of resolving gaps between product design and real-world execution. You are highly detail-oriented, technically fluent, and comfortable managing complex systems and processes within a fast-paced, evolving environment.

CANDIDATE PROFILE 

Education and Experience Required

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Data Science, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in digital media, AdTech, or retail/commerce media with a strong product, strategy, or operations background
  • Knowledge of digital media channels, advertising technology, and campaign operations
  • Solid understanding of programmatic, managed service, and on/offsite advertising models and measurement frameworks
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Operations, and Technology teams

Education and Experience Preferred

  • Master's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field
  • Experience with advertising platforms and technologies (e.g., ad servers, DSPs, paid media platforms)
  • Familiarity with data analysis, reporting tools, and performance measurement methodologies
  • Experience contributing to product roadmaps or supporting product development initiatives
  • Knowledge of CRM / audience activation and first-party data strategies

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES 

Primary Activities

  • Support the execution and rollout of advertising products and features, ensuring solutions are fully operationalized and ready for scaled use across channels.
  • Manage implementation of new capabilities, including coordinating timelines, tracking dependencies, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
  • Play a central role in ensuring how ad solutions function in practice, identifying gaps between product design and execution and driving resolution.
  • Partner with Ad Operations to ensure product capabilities are usable, scalable, and aligned with campaign execution needs without directly owning trafficking.
  • Oversee testing, QA, and validation processes for new product features, integrations, and enhancements prior to launch.
  • Monitor performance and usage of advertising products to identify issues, inefficiencies, or opportunities to improve functionality and usability.
  • Maintain and evolve documentation for processes, workflows, and product capabilities to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts across Sales, Media Planning, Analytics, and external partners to support successful product adoption and execution.
  • Track and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards.
