Job Description

Valpak helps local business grow through direct mail (iconic blue envelope), targeted neighborhood postcards, and data driven advertising campaigns. Our broad range of marketing solutions are delivered in over 100 markets to 40 million households across the country. They are proven to help businesses maximize the return on their advertising investment.

We are looking to add a B2B sales representative to our Southern Maryland team that reside in or near Prince George County. The ideal candidate for this position will have a highly successful background and training in outside B2B sales.

You will be required to build a customer base through prospecting, cold calls, negotiation, and closing. Our advertising programs are so successful that your customers will buy from you time and time again. You will grow and retain your customer base by using state of the art measurement and reporting tools along with excellent customer service skills, to form lasting partnerships with local businesses. The successful candidate will join an established team of local sales professionals with tenures of over 20 years. You will receive on-going sales training and be assisted by our office and support staff.

Starting compensation is based upon experience but is highly competitive for our market. As your skills and business partnerships grow, so will your earnings. On average, our sales representatives are making well into six-figure incomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven record of success in B2B outside sales and service or equivalent achievements. Willing to interview recent college graduates. This is a great entry level position with excellent training, coaching and mentoring if you have the right characteristics of persistence, ability to make new connections, create presentations, use a CRM (Salesforce) to manage your time and activity, and the ability to make long lasting relationships based on advertising solutions that meet customer expectations.
