We create and deliver tailored marketing strategies for Expedia Group's brands, focusing on establishing strong connections and cohesive experiences for travelers and partners. In this role, you will:

  • Become a part of the Planning & Insights (PI) recognized by the wider Expedia Group Advertising business as knowledgeable and highly proficient in the specific areas of reporting & analytics, creating data insights and media planning.

  • Create media strategies by analyzing audiences, recommending media mixes, and allocating advertising budgets.

  • Provide top-class support to our AMER partners, as well as to our global partners.

  • Craft positive relationships with the global Sales teams, influence and instill best practices into daily collaboration with sellers and their leaders at all stages of the advertising campaign.

  • Influence and communicate effectively in partner-facing situations to deliver and position booking/search and industry/macroeconomic data and insights to support the campaign strategy for Expedia Group Advertising partnerships. Contribute to generate new and/or grow advertising partnerships, and drive towards attaining quarterly and annual revenue targets.

  • Collaborate with EMEA and APAC team members to support the PI team's pre-campaign and strategic support of Expedia Group Advertising' global Sales team.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with key internal stakeholders across Analytics, Yield, Operations, Strategy and Product to innovate and automate the PI team's (and the wider Sales/Sales Operations team's) systems, tools and processes.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience of working within a data-driven, highly analytical culture where insights inspire decisions, ideas and strategy.

  • And/or experience of working within an e-commerce, tech, digital marketing or business consultancy environment.

  • And/or experience of working within the travel industry, particularly in digital marketing and e-commerce roles, or at OTAs.

  • And/or experience in media planning across different channels

  • Worked effectively and thrived in a fast-paced environment requiring prioritization and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • A passion for turning data into insights and telling stories with actionable data to inspire ideas and decisions in both internal and external business contexts.

  • A motivation for problem-solving and, through cross-functional collaboration and of course data, uncovering solutions which increase business effectiveness and efficiency and ultimately support revenue generation efforts.

  • Enjoyed and excelled at project managing key business initiatives, including goals, process design changes, and the development and launch of data and insights visualization tools

The total cash range for this position in Toronto is $65,500.00 to $92,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $105,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
