Description

The Driver (CDL A) is responsible for the delivery of insulation products to job sites based on a provided schedule. This will include ensuring on-time delivery and professional interaction with customers at delivery sites. Assisting in the warehouse with production and moving materials and products may also be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Loads and unloads trucks of products and materials.
  • Ensures truck maintenance standards are met.
  • Performs daily pre-trip inspections and conducts minor maintenance as needed.
  • Completes daily DOT logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Processes paperwork such as tickets and bills of lading.
  • Ensures the customer signed the receipt of material and collects on COD charges. 
  • Verifies material counts are correct upon delivery to maintain inventory accuracy.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL (Class A) license in compliance with company policy and DOT regulations, required.
  • Two years of verifiable experience driving a tractor/trailer or straight truck, required.
  • Ability to lift materials up to 50 lbs.
  • As a condition of continued employment, employees working in a position requiring driving as an essential function of the job, are required to maintain a valid license, and an acceptable driving record as per our insurance provider's requirements.
