Job Responsibilities 
As a Retail Department Stock Associate, you will ensure the timely delivery of goods to the selling floor. You will be responsible for establishing professional, yet personalized rapport with each customer in order to provide the best customer experience. 
Additional responsibilities include: 

  • Receive and process receipts and transfers.
  • Replenish selling floor daily.
  • Maintain appearance of the selling floor and stock room.
  • Assist customers and sell merchandise as business dictates.
  • Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and paperwork, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain an awareness of advertised merchandise. 

Job Requirements 
Successful candidates for the Retail Department Stock Associate role should have the ability and desire to actively engage customers and provide excellent customer service. 
Additional requirements of the Retail Department Stock Associate include: 

  • Enjoys working with customers, is stock/sales directed and committed to excellent customer service.
  • Prior stock and or selling experience preferred.
  • Communication; written, verbal and by telephone with customers, co-workers and management.
  • Possess basic math skills.
  • Maintain an awareness of advertised merchandise.
  • Ability to learn selling skills and to operate a POS terminal and telxon.
  • Ability to work well with the public and available to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
