This role is part of Alcon's Commercial Operations function, a team that delivers value through data-driven insights, digital solutions, commercial excellence, and seamless services and collaboration.
The Sr. Associate, Marketing Communications in Creative Services is primarily responsible for creating and producing marketing, advertising, and sales promotional materials to implement marketing strategies for all functions at Alcon.
Specifics include - As a Sr. Graphic Designer, evaluate and modify promotional, or advertising programs based on the client brief. Display initiative and creative problem-solving skills to achieve client objectives. Proficient with the Macintosh OS and software including but not limited to, Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Excellent presentation skills for major projects or key initiatives. Possess a high degree of color acuity. A portfolio of existing work that demonstrates design ability is required.
In this role, a typical day will include:
  • Displaying a high degree of leadership, professionalism, collaborative work style, organizational, teamwork, and communication skills.

  • Under only general direction, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly adjust to rapidly shifting priorities to achieve deadline objectives.

  • Ensure that all projects are completed on schedule, within budgetary constraints, and are accurate.

  • Independently prioritize and report changes in project status daily.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs.; Assoc.+6 yrs.; M.S.+0 yrs.)

  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
