Role Description
The Manager, Strategic Accounts, is responsible for nurturing accounts in the "incubation" stage as their dealer groups expand into "Key Accounts." This role involves balancing a book of business that includes both strategic and non-strategic accounts, ensuring exceptional service and earning opportunities to expand into other stores within dealer groups.
The Manager, Strategic Accounts, will report to the Senior Director, Strategic Account Management, while also working closely with the Directors of Account Maintenance in the U.S. and Canada. This role supports these directors by contributing to process documentation and tracking.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage and nurture a book of strategic and non-strategic accounts to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Drive the growth of accounts by identifying opportunities to expand services within dealer groups.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, fostering strong relationships and serving as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director, Strategic Account Management, to develop tailored strategies for account expansion.
  • Partner with U.S. and Canada Account Maintenance Directors to support process documentation and tracking initiatives.
  • Ensure timely and effective communication with clients, addressing concerns and identifying opportunities for enhanced engagement.
  • Lead the transition of "incubation" stores into Key Accounts, ensuring a smooth and successful handover to the Key Account Manager.
  • Track and analyze account performance, providing insights and recommendations to drive growth.
  • Support internal teams by providing feedback on product performance and client needs.
  • Develop and standardize strategic account management processes to improve efficiency and consistency across team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of high-level automotive experience preferred.
  • Proven track record in customer service or account management.
