At Southwest Adventure Tours (SWAT), we don't just sell tours, wecreate unforgettable journeys through some of the most awe-inspiringlandscapes in the American West. We're looking for a Creator andMarketer of Experiences to join our sales team and bring ouritineraries to life for travelers from around the globe.
This isn't your typical desk job. One day you might be designing adream itinerary for a small group exploring Utah's Mighty FiveNational Parks; the next, you could be networking with industry prosat a trade show or exploring a new destination on a familiarization trip.
If you thrive on building relationships, love talking about travel,and have a knack for turning "I'm just looking" into "When can webook?", we want you on our team.
As our newest sales & marketing dynamo, you'll work closely withour sales and marketing leadership to promote, design, and sell Group,Custom, Self-Drive, Private, and Guaranteed Departure tours, all whilekeeping your finger on the pulse of industry trends and opportunities.
Requirements
We're looking for someone who's as excited about adventure travel aswe are and can bring:
  • Proven sales experience ideally in travel, tourism,hospitality, or a related industry.
  • Relationship-building skills that make agents, wholesalers,and clients want to work with you again and again.
  • Strong organizational skills for juggling proposals,follow-ups, and sales calls without missing a beat.
  • Creativity and curiosity to design itineraries that wow ourguests and fit their unique needs.
  • Comfort with technology from CRM systems and proposaldesign tools to Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
  • Industry savviness or the willingness to learn quicklyabout destinations, hotels, attractions, activities, and theSouthwest's natural and cultural history.
  • Willingness to travel for trade shows,"FAM" trips, and other necessary adventures.
  • A professional, proactive, andcollaborative attitude.
