Schedule: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM Monday - Friday
Pay: $35 - $45/hr. (based on experience and fit)
Adventure Tours, a rapidly growing motor coach leader with locations from New York to North Carolina, is seeking an A-Tech Diesel Mechanic for our Accokeek, MD facility. This is a fast-paced, fully equipped shop where your technical expertise and leadership will shine.
What You'll Do
  • Diagnose and repair advanced diesel systems: aftertreatment (DEF/DPF/SCR), engine, transmission, electrical, HVAC, and suspension
  • Use OEM diagnostic tools for precise troubleshooting
  • Work on a modern fleet, including Van Hool, MCI, Prevost, and Ford-based vehicles with Cummins, Detroit Diesel, and Allison systems
  • Perform repairs meeting DOT, manufacturer, and company standards

What We're Looking For
  • Proven A-Level Diesel Technician experience in a commercial fleet
  • Expertise in complex diagnostics across multiple systems
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Must have your own tools; CDL preferred but not required
  • Ability to work independently and pass a technical skills assessment
