Job description

Description:

Location: Richmond, VA
Salary: $50,000 - $70,000

Every mile Adventure Tours drives — across Maryland, North Carolina, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia — starts with a relationship someone built. We're looking for the person who builds the next chapter of them.

Adventure Tours is a growing luxury charter bus and transportation company headquartered in Accokeek, MD, with a footprint that already reaches five states. We've earned our reputation one route, one partnership, and one satisfied client at a time — and now we're ready to expand it further, faster.

That's where you come in. As our Business Development Manager, you won't be executing someone else's playbook — you'll be writing it. You'll sit close to leadership, spot the opportunities others miss, turn relationships into revenue, and shape how this company grows from here. If you've been waiting for a role where your instincts, initiative, and ideas actually move the needle, this is it.

What This Role Offers

• Real influence — a key, visible seat at the table in company growth and expansion

• A direct line to leadership, collaborating on the strategic initiatives that shape where the company goes next

• Genuine creative latitude to shape partnerships, marketing direction, and processes from the ground up

• The stability of an established company paired with real, unbounded room to grow your role and your impact

• Broad, varied exposure across transportation, tourism, and corporate markets

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and strategic partnerships

• Manage and respond to inbound business inquiries and requests

• Maintain and update company profiles, listings, and marketing channels

• Serve as the primary liaison between Adventure Tours and clients, partners, and vendors

• Support proposal and bid development for corporate and government contracts

• Help refine business development and marketing strategies

• Track opportunities and activity in the company CRM/database

• Prepare insightful reports and recommendations for leadership

• Drive outreach initiatives and relationship-building efforts

• Represent Adventure Tours at transportation, tourism, and industry networking events

• Collaborate with operations and leadership to align growth initiatives

• Contribute to additional projects supporting company expansion

Requirements:

2+ years of business development, partnerships, or growth-related experience

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Strategic mindset with attention to detail

• Highly organized and self-motivated

• Comfortable working cross-functionally

Strong computer and CRM skills (Coach Manager a plus)

• Professional presence and customer-focused approach

Preferred Qualifications

• Transportation, logistics, travel, or tourism experience

Experience with HubStop, RFPs, proposals, or bid writing

• Marketing, branding, or market research exposure

Compensation & Benefits

• $50,000 - $70,000/year, based on experience

• Bonus program included

• Health, Dental & Vision Insurance

• PTO + Floating Holidays

• 401(k) Retirement Plan

Growth doesn't happen by accident — it happens because someone decides to make it happen. If that someone is you, we're ready to talk.

Apply now and help drive the next chapter of Adventure Tours.
