Oral Surgery Associates is seeking a skilled and dependable Dental Assistant to join our oral and maxillofacial surgery team. Experience & Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist oral surgeons during surgical procedures and patient exams
  • Prepare and break down surgical rooms, instruments, and materials
  • Support patient care before, during, and after surgery
  • Take and process dental X-rays or imaging as directed
  • Maintain strict infection control, sterilization, and OSHA compliance
  • Provide compassionate patient support and clear post-operative instructions
  • Accurately document clinical notes and maintain patient records
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management


Requirements:
  • Previous dental assisting experience required; oral surgery experience preferred
  • Knowledge of dental and surgical instruments and safety protocols
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical/surgical environment
  • Strong communication skills and professional, patient-centered demeanor
  • CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
