Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Solution Architect to join our team. This pivotal role involves the interpretation of Federal Government Policy, Law, Directives, Standards, Executive Orders, and other requirements relating to cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will have the ability to translate these requirements from non-technical to technical, and vice versa, and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel.

Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Must possess an active TS clearance at the time of application, be willing and able to obtain SCI access, and pass a CI polygraph.
  • This position is onsite 5/days in Pocatello, ID

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field
  • A minimum of eight 8 years of experience in security architecture or related fields
  • In lieu of experience, industry-recognized certifications can be substituted (e.g., ISC2 CISSP, ISC2 CISSP-ISSAP, ISSAC CISM/CISA, CompTIA CASP+, CompTIA SecurityX, CCDA, CCNP, TOGAF).
  • Strong ability to read, understand, and interpret Federal Government policy, law, Directives, Standards, and Executive Orders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, with the ability to translate complex technical information to non-technical personnel.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and innovative thinking for solution design.
    Experience in collaborating with diverse stakeholders and optimizing security solutions.

Responsibilities

Policy and Requirement Interpretation:

  • Reads, understands, and interprets Federal Government policy, law, Directives, Standards, Executive Orders, and other requirements into actionable items.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Works with required stakeholders to ensure technical specifications are met or exceeded within required timeframes.
  • Assists in leveraging resources to fulfill requirements in a timely fashion.
  • Establishes relationships with internal and external stakeholders to efficiently and effectively use resources to fulfill the requirements

Problem-Solving and Innovation:

  • Interprets, adapts, and overcomes obstacles while thinking innovatively to solve requirements.
  • Enlists the knowledge of others to find solutions.

Design and Implementation:

  • Engages technical personnel with management to design and implement solutions that adhere to required security documented requirements.
  • Ensures all Federal government security requirements, policy, guides, standards, and other requirements are met or exceeded during the design and implementation of systems.
  • Designs solutions based on requirements provided during discussions with internal and external stakeholders.

Optimization and Support:

  • Works with internal and external stakeholders to optimize current solutions to ensure they are secure, optimized, and cost-effective.
  • Performs complex and advanced security architecture work in design, evaluation, planning, testing, and operation in support of system development, engineering, analysis, and research.
