Your Role Within the Team

As a P&C EIT at Phasor, you will:

Assist senior engineers in the development of protection and control designs from conceptual through implementation stages.

Prepare and review single-line diagrams, control schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and bill of materials.

Perform engineering calculations related to protection coordination and system studies.

Program Protection & Control devices

Participate in site visits and commissioning activities to learn practical application of designs.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects

Qualifications

Holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent

Registered or is eligible for registration as an EIT with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC).

Relevant experience through co-op, academic projects, or professional work in substation utility design, protection and control design, or related power systems is an asset.

Familiarity with protection principles, relay coordination, and related engineering software is an asset.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Experience using AutoCAD software is an asset

Motivated, organized, with a collaborative and adaptable approach to work.

Basic knowledge of the office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Able to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
