Overview

The Provider Recruiter is responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and presenting qualified candidates for physician, advanced practice provider, and mental health positions across an assigned region. This role manages the full recruitment lifecycle with a strong emphasis on sourcing and hiring healthcare professionals. The position develops targeted recruitment strategies, builds candidate pipelines, and partners with hiring managers to meet staffing needs. The Provider Recruiter also tracks recruitment metrics and supports a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified healthcare and mental health professionals.
  • Source active and passive candidates through networking, research, cold calling, and other recruitment methods.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination.
  • Partner with hiring managers to provide recruitment updates, maintain applicant tracking system records, and support staffing needs.
  • Verify licensure and credentials, coordinate recruitment advertising efforts, and track recruiting metrics and costs.

Qualifications

Education

  • College degree in Human Resources, business, sales, or closely related field preferred.

Experience

  • 3 years’ experience in recruitment.
  • Previous healthcare recruiting experience preferred.
  • Previous agency recruitment experience a plus.
