Registered Nurse / Integration Coach
Job Summary:
The Registe in the Ketamine Infusion Suite is responsible for providing high-quality patient care during ketamine infusion treatments for mental health
management indications. This role includes patient assessment, IV placement,
medication administration under supervision of a licensed medical provider, continuous monitoring, emergency response, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the treatment process.
The Paramedic works collaboratively with physicians, nurse practitioners, Registered Nurses, and behavioral health professionals to deliver safe and effective infusion therapy in a controlled outpatient setting.
Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-treatment patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and screening questionnaires.
Establish and maintain IV access for ketamine infusions.
Monitor patients continuously during infusion (cardiac monitoring, pulse
oximetry, blood pressure, respiratory status, and level of consciousness).
Prepare and administer ketamine infusions per physician order and clinic
protocol.

Recognize and respond to adverse reactions or complications (e.g.,
hypertension, respiratory depression, emergence reactions).
Administer emergency medications and perform advanced life support
interventions as needed.
Document all care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Provide patient education before and after treatment regarding
expectations, side effects, and discharge instructions
Ensure proper medication handling, storage, and inventory management
in compliance with regulatory standards.
Main infusion suite equipment and emergency readiness (crash cart
checks, oxygen supply, suction equipment, etc.).
Participate in quality assurance and safety initiatives.
Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Requirements:
Paramedic: Must possess a current and valid Paramedic certification or license within the state of practice and maintain thereafter
Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field
Strong clinical knowledge and skills in infusion therapy and patient care
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Current BLS and ACLS certification is required
