Storage Operations Engineer (Implementation and Support) 
Job Duties: 
Implementation and support of Storage Infrastructure (NetApp Clustered Data OnTAP, NetApp Santricity, HPE 3-PAR, EMC VNX/ VMAX, Cisco MDS SAN, Brocade SAN) 
Administration and diagnostic resolution of advanced maintenance and performance issues on Netapp Clustered Data OnTAP, NetApp Santricity, HPE 3-PAR, EMC VNX/ VMAX, Cisco MDS SAN, Brocade SAN) 
Advanced troubleshooting of common block/file protocols including iSCSI, NFS, CIFS 
Provisioning Storage as per internal and external customer requirements. 
Configure and maintain storage infrastructure providing optimal availability, performance and best practices 
Escalation point and Storage "Subject Matter Expert" within the greater Global Support Services Tier 2/3 Support and Implementation Team 
Lead/coordinate projects including new installations, upgrades, retrofits, security vulnerability identification and remediation etc. 
Update logical diagrams and maintain platform and procedural documentation as per requirement 
Follow Change Management and overall operations processes and document as appropriate. 
Job Requirements: 
Excellent Problem Solving Skills  
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment 
Minimum of 5 years' experience with Storage Administration 
Solid experience with NetApp and associated technologies; NetApp Clustered Data OnTap, NetApp Santricity, NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, FlexClone, NDMP, SnapManager, SnapMirror  
Experience configuring and managing Cisco SAN Fibre Channel Switches  
Experience configuring and managing Brocade DCX SAN Fibre Channel Switches  
Experience configuring and managing HPE 3Par SAN Arrays 
Knowledge of OS Internals (File systems, storage, process lifecycle, etc.)  
Demonstrated experience with VMware products and technologies and integration with enterprise storage infrastructure 
Strong verbal and written skills  
Eligible for US Public Trust Certification, US Citizenship required  
Willing to work On Call and occasional weekend work  
Nice To Have  
Previous experience in IT Call Center support environment  
Experience in creating and maintaining knowledgebase articles Storage technology related certifications or training highly desirable (NetApp, EMC, HP 3Par, Cisco SAN, Brocade SAN)
