Job description

Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a mechanical engineer for the Fleet Ballistic Missile Fire Control programs, you'll be a Lead of a cross functional team responsible for Mechanical design, development, and insertion of high technology refreshes of electronics on board the submarine platform. You will also be expected to act as a stakeholder as part of a Product-oriented design and development activity.
We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Product Owner for advanced technology insertion; Design & Development of maritime or shipboard electronics (on DoD programs is a plus); advanced manufactuing, testing or analysis experience.
