Job description


As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will optimize production processes, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with teams to achieve operational excellence and innovation. You will report directly to our Director of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location.
In this role, you will impact the overall success of our manufacturing operations by implementing advanced manufacturing technologies, driving process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful new product introductions (NPI) for the Engines & Power Systems (E&PS) sub business unit.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee advanced manufacturing processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement advanced manufacturing technologies.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in advanced manufacturing, engineering or process optimization roles
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies including automation, robotics, and lean manufacturing principles
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical process control to identify and implement process improvements
  • Experience with manufacturing software tools and technologies such as CAD, CAM, or MES systems
