Job description

Hospital Diagnostic Imaging Manager - Bring your imaging leadership expertise to a community-focused healthcare organization where advanced technology, meaningful leadership, and breathtaking Southern Oregon Coast living come together in one truly unique opportunity!
The Hospital Diagnostic Imaging Manager will join a mission-driven healthcare organization committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care close to home. The organization has continued investing in modern facilities, advanced technology, and expanded services, including major upgrades to diagnostic imaging equipment and the adoption of Epic to improve coordination, patient access, and clinical workflows. The healthcare system has also demonstrated a strong commitment to patient experience, including recognition for exceptional patient satisfaction, while maintaining a compassionate, community-oriented culture.
As the Hospital Diagnostic Imaging Manager, you will oversee a 25-bed hospital's Diagnostic Imaging and Radiology operations across multiple locations. State-of-the-art technology, modern equipment, and a full range of imaging services create an opportunity for an experienced imaging leader to make a meaningful impact across a diverse service line. The Diagnostic Imaging department provides X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound, echocardiography, mammography, nuclear medicine, fluoroscopy, DEXA, and stress testing, giving the ARRT Imaging Manager the opportunity to lead a broad and highly versatile imaging operation. The organization has continued expanding access to advanced imaging, including 3D mammography and upgraded CT and nuclear medicine technology.
The Radiology Manager will report directly to the Director of Ancillary Services and will have significant ownership of day-to-day Diagnostic Imaging operations, with no supervisory layer between the manager and frontline imaging staff. This Manager Diagnostic Imaging will oversee staffing, competency, quality, regulatory compliance, performance improvement, departmental budgets, utilization, operational metrics, and strategic initiatives while mentoring and developing the imaging team. The role also requires a hands-on leader who can step into Radiology operations and perform critical modalities, including CT and X-ray, when departmental coverage requires it. Emergency standby and coverage may also be required based on patient and department needs. You will work alongside friendly nurses, providers, technologists, and a diverse multidisciplinary healthcare team focused on safe, efficient, patient-centered care.
The Southern Oregon Coast offers a lifestyle that is difficult to replicate anywhere else. The Hospital Diagnostic Imaging Manager can enjoy easy access to beaches, hiking, kayaking, fishing, golfing, biking, whale watching, scenic overlooks, rivers, forests, and some of the most dramatic coastline in the Pacific Northwest. The region is known for its mild coastal climate, abundant outdoor recreation, local restaurants, independent shops, community events, and relaxed pace of life.
The ARRT Imaging Manager will also find an organization with a strong history of investing in its facilities and clinical capabilities. The healthcare system has expanded services and upgraded equipment over the years, including advanced mammography, CT, nuclear medicine, MRI, ultrasound, X-ray, cardiac imaging, stress testing, and bone density services. Its imaging professionals work closely with providers to support timely diagnosis and treatment, and the organization has emphasized keeping advanced imaging services available locally so patients can receive sophisticated care without unnecessary travel.
If you're an experienced imaging leader ready to take ownership of a comprehensive Radiology operation while enjoying the unmatched lifestyle of the Southern Oregon Coast, connect with a Clinical Management Consultants recruiter today and discover where your next leadership chapter could take you.
