The ChristianaCare Center for Heart & Vascular Health is currently seeking an Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join our Advanced Heart Failure Program at the Center for Heart & Vascular Health.
ChristianaCare's Advanced Heart Failure Program at the Center for Heart & Vascular Health in Newark, DE-just 30 minutes from Philadelphia-provides nationally recognized, patient-centered care for individuals living with heart failure. The program focuses on managing symptoms, slowing disease progression, and improving patients' overall quality of life. ChristianaCare is one of the top 10 largest volume heart failure hospital systems in the United States, and our multidisciplinary team of board certified Advanced Heart Failure, Noninvasive, and Interventional and Electrophysiology Cardiologists are supported by experienced nurse practitioners and Heart Failure Care Navigators in providing comprehensive cardiac assessments, innovative treatments, clinical trials and the highest level of care to all of our patients.
ChristianaCare is affiliated with the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. In addition, the Center partners with Pennsylvania Hospital for cardiac transplantation and transplant medicine services.
Position Details:
• Join an experienced team of specialists, heart failure APPs and RN LVAD coordinators in a well-established, progressive Heart Failure Program. Excellent opportunity for growth and leadership.
• Provide advanced hearty failure care services independently, including optimal care of left ventricular assist devices (LVADs)
• Participate in patient care through consultative and inpatient cardiac services, patient admissions under the Advanced Heart Failure/LVAD service, outpatient care in our Heart Failure Outpatient Center, on-call coverage and teaching opportunities with ChristianaCare's Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellowship
• Support the Heart & Vascular Center's initiatives to continuously improve patient care and outcomes through innovative programs and utilizing new technologies including virtual health care delivery and participating in the latest research and clinical trials.

Annual Compensation Range $438,536.00 - $568,501.00
The above compensation range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting for full-time hours in the respective specialty. The actual compensation within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation the fair market value for physician services in the relevant specialty and the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, credentials, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements. The compensation range listed may encompass various forms of applicable compensation for this position, including, but not limited to, productivity incentives, value-based incentives and other ancillary forms of compensation dependent upon operational factors such as hours worked, call coverage and other factors. ChristianaCare will offer compensation at an appropriate point within the above range or, less frequently, may offer a level of compensation outside the listed range as warranted by the circumstances.
