Job description

We are seeking a Final Quality Inspector to join our Quality team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring our products meet both company and customer quality standards. You will perform inspections and support containment activities to maintain the highest levels of product quality. Working closely with Production and Engineering teams, you'll play a vital role in problem-solving, documentation, and driving continuous improvement.
*please note, internally this position is known as GP12 Inspector*
Night Shift Schedule: Monday-Wednesday 12:00am-6:15am and alternating Thursday/Friday or Saturday/Sunday 6:00pm-6:15am.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform product inspections, including receiving inspections and dimensional checks.
  • Support Production and Engineering teams during tool trials and daily operations.
  • Lead and participate in quality containment actions when required.
  • Carry out production floor audits, including gaging, process book checks, and sorting.
  • Verify shipping labels to ensure they match production labels.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) and at least 1 year of work experience in a quality inspection role.
  • Experience with injection molding processes and/or components (preferred).
  • Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Basic computer proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Work Environment & Expectations:
  • Manufacturing environment, requiring standing up to 8 hours per day in an environment that may be hot, noisy, and dirty.
  • Quarantine or recommend "stop-ship" of products that do not meet quality standards.
  • Stop the manufacturing process for quality or safety concerns and escalate immediately.
  • Support plant-wide 5S initiatives and represent the Quality function professionally.
