Northeast Family Services is seeking a High Support Needs Direct Support Professional to join our growing team!

FFS (Fee-for-Service) Position

The High Support Needs Direct Support Professional will be responsible for implementing clients' behavior support plans to reduce challenging behaviors and providing ABA-based instruction to promote the development of new skills under the direction of their supervising BCBA. This individual will monitor client behavior, collect behavioral data, and communicate observations and progress to the client's care team. The role also involves collaborating closely with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support meaningful and lasting behavioral change.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) preferred
  • Minimum of five years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, transitional-age youth, or families
  • Experience supporting adolescents requiring comprehensive levels of care
  • Valid driver's license and reliable access to a vehicle
  • Availability to work after-school and evening hours
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Experience implementing behavioral interventions in applied settings preferred
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Compassionate, person-centered approach to care

Compensation:

  • The Direct Support Professional is an Hourly position
  • $16.00 to $22.00 /hour based on program, education, and experience
