About this Job General Position Summary: Maintain accurate student records. Attend to incoming students, inperson or via phone. Administer orientation.

Demonstrate efficiency with data collection and reporting. Help students improve their basic math, reading comprehension, language, and computer skills to achieve high school equivalency and/or industry-based credentials (IBC) to secure entry-level employment or advance in their current occupation. Develop, deliver, revise, and teach academic instruction up to the college level, focusing on College and Career Readiness.

Demonstrate student focus, with a passion for serving adults in attaining basic skills, digital skills, English proficiency, high school equivalency credentials, and encouraging the continuing pursuit of education and/or training. Supervisor: Director of Adult Education Physical Demands: Lift up to 25 lbs. Organizing student records for accuracy and completeness Monitor minor student attendance to ensure minimum attendance is completed Assist current and potential students upon visiting or calling the campus Serve on Adult Education and RPCC committees as requested by the Director or RPCC Leadership Maintain accurate student records and data, i.e., forms, attendance, etc. Attends staff development programs, curriculum development meetings, and other professional activities Utilize and provide direct instruction through innovative, effective, and equitable teaching techniques Participates in developing, revising, and monitoring the implementation of the curriculum, as needed Provide classroom instruction, feedback, and direct student learning using available technology Guide students through assessments and create an individualized career plan, as needed Completes reports, collects data, and provides information for program monitoring as requested Meet all deadlines Keeps abreast of developments, research, and new technology.
