Job description

Ocean Academy a private special education school located in Bayville, Ocean County, NJ seeks a Math Teacher. Duties include providing instruction in Mathematics adapted to levels of functioning, goals and objectives.

Position Title: Math Teacher
Position Type: Full Time; 35 Hours/Weekly
Benefits Eligible: Yes; Full Benefits
Location: Bayville, NJ
Department: Ocean Academy
Salary: $51,000 - $56,000

Responsibilities:

  • Provide instruction to students in a private, out of district special education school
  • Create lesson plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Teacher of the Handicapped highly qualified in math OR Teacher of Math
  • NJ Teacher of Math Certification Required.
  • NJ Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification preferred
