Description:

An Adult Beverage Associates job is to select, price, display, and promote Beer, Liquor, & Wine while working with a department team to meet objectives for sales, margin, inventory control, labor, and customer service.


An Adult Beverage Associate is also tasked with ensuring department cleanliness, price integrity, quality control, merchandising, and receiving. You will leverage your own experience and knowledge of these categories to create sales plans, execute promotions, oversee category management, build relationships with vendors and local suppliers, foster a culture of collaboration across the stores while supporting merchandising decisions.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years experience in Beer, Liquor, or Wine retail operations or equivalent experience

Advanced knowledge of Beer, Liquor, & Wine products and ability to reference customer questions

Must have basic knowledge of math, weights, and measures.

Ability to set challenging goals, and work through others to achieve results

Knowledge of current trends in the grocery industry with an emphasis on Beer, Liquor, & Wine

Proficient knowledge of Beer, Liquor, & Wine

Organized, consistently follows through on commitments

Demonstrates the ability to handle multiple demands

Communications skills – clear directions, good listener

Positive attitude

Experience serving the public

Ability to project friendly, outgoing personality

The potential for prolonged standing, walking, squatting, and/or bending

Ability to lift heavy boxes up to 50 lbs. and team lift rarely up to 75 lbs.
