Human Resources Coordinator

Alliance Healthcare is seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused HR Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our Human Resources Department. This position plays a vital role in ensuring efficient HR operations by providing administrative support across all human resources functions, maintaining accurate employee records, supporting onboarding activities, and delivering exceptional customer service to employees and applicants.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, demonstrates excellent judgment, maintains confidentiality, and possesses strong knowledge of ADP Workforce Now.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Process and coordinate all new hire paperwork and onboarding documentation.
  • Schedule and coordinate new employee orientation sessions.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential personnel files.
  • Process employment verification requests in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and manage the Human Resources mailbox, ensuring prompt responses and appropriate follow-up.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking HR assistance and information.
  • Perform HRIS data entry and maintain employee records within ADP Workforce Now.
  • Generate HR reports and assist with data audits to ensure system accuracy.
  • Maintain employee training records and support compliance reporting.
  • Track professional licenses, certifications, and renewal dates to ensure organizational compliance.
  • Organize, scan, file, and maintain electronic and paper HR documents.
  • Provide administrative support for recruitment, onboarding, benefits, payroll, employee engagement, and other HR initiatives.
  • Assist with special projects, meetings, and departmental activities.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

  • Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience, preferably in Human Resources.
  • Strong knowledge and experience using ADP Workforce Now is required.
  • Experience in healthcare, behavioral healthcare, or a multi-site organization is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of ADP Workforce Now, including employee record maintenance, HRIS data management, reporting, onboarding, and personnel transactions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of HR recordkeeping requirements and employment compliance practices.
