Tellworks, a growing 3PL provider, is currently seeking Operations Assistant- Time & Attendance in our USA Parkway warehouse.
Job Summary
The HR Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. This position assists with recruiting, onboarding, employee records, payroll support, benefits administration, and employee relations while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. The HR Assistant serves as a first point of contact for employees and helps maintain efficient HR operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruiting activities, including posting job openings, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and new hire paperwork.
  • Process employee status changes, including new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
  • Maintain accurate employee personnel files and HRIS records.
  • Process employment verification requests and other HR documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR records.
  • Prepare reports related to headcount, turnover, attendance, and other HR metrics.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events.
  • Support performance management processes and maintain disciplinary documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment policies.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, data entry, and responding to employee inquiries.
  • Complete other HR-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of Human Resources or administrative experience preferred.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now, HRIS systems, or applicant tracking systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English. Bilingual is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
