Job description

Jackson & Coker is seeking a Child & Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatrist for a locums opportunity in South Carolina. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a hospital-based child and adolescent inpatient unit. The position provides schedule flexibility and dedicated support from a relationship-driven team, covering permanent recruitment efforts.

Practice Info

  • Hospital-based inpatient adolescent psychiatry unit
  • Collaborative care model with mid-level providers
  • Initial 6 month contract
  • Coverage during permanent recruitment effort

Responsibilities

  • Round 1-2 weeks a month
  • Manage 10-12 patients per day, including 1-2 consults
  • Conduct Emergency Department and medical floor consults
  • Provide Probate court coverage with hearing attendance
  • Attend treatment team meetings Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 10 AM
