Position Summary
The Digital Commerce Developer (Full Stack) is responsible for broad application development across front-end and back-end technologies, with a primary focus on web applications and eCommerce and occasional exposure to mobile development.
This role develops, integrates, and enhances Chatters' digital commerce platforms, translating business and UI/UX requirements into scalable web solutions while building internal capability alongside external partners.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Stack Development & Digital Commerce
  • Develop and support full-stack web applications, integrations, and digital customer experiences, with opportunities to contribute to mobile experiences where relevant.
  • Develop, integrate, and enhance Chatters' digital commerce platforms across front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Translate business and UI/UX requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
Systems Integration & APIs
  • Build and maintain API integrations with enterprise systems, including ERP (Microsoft Business Central), eCommerce, CRM, loyalty, payment, booking, and third-party services.
  • Support reliable data flow and connectivity between digital commerce applications and enterprise platforms.
Application Optimization & Support
  • Support the ongoing enhancement and optimization of web applications and digital customer experiences.
  • Perform testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to support application performance, security, and reliability.
  • Identify opportunities to improve application functionality, scalability, maintainability, and user experience.
Collaboration & Delivery
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX, business, and technical partners throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Work alongside external partners while helping strengthen internal development knowledge and capability.
  • Contribute to Agile delivery practices, Git-based source control, and CI/CD processes.

Qualifications 
  • 2–3 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, Web Developer, or in a similar application development role.
  • Experience with Adobe Commerce (Magento) or a similar eCommerce platform.
  • Knowledge of REST and GraphQL APIs, systems integrations, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Vue.js, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and Agile development practices.
  • Exposure to mobile application development or mobile frameworks is considered an asset, but is not required.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery teams using Git-based source control and CI/CD practices.
