Data Scientist | Columbus, Ohio, United States Job Summary: Senior Data Scientist - Enterprise Analytics (Banking) Location: Columbus, OH (Remote flexibility) | Job Type: C2C About the Role Join a high-performing Enterprise Analytics team at a leading banking institution as a Senior Data Scientist. Fuel organizational growth through advanced analytics, data-driven insights, and opportunity discovery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including Product, Marketing, Data, Finance, and senior leadership-to optimize customer experience, drive business value, and influence strategic decisions. This is a highly visible role where you will leverage your technical expertise and communication skills to shape business outcomes in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Responsibilities - Design and implement advanced analytics and machine learning models to extract actionable insights from complex business data. - Conduct large-scale experimentation and build data-driven models to answer strategic business questions. - Research and apply emerging techniques in machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence. - Collaborate with business segments to identify opportunities for optimization and customer value delivery. - Translate analytical findings into intuitive data visualizations and persuasive presentations for stakeholders and senior leadership. - Partner with Agile teams throughout the project lifecycle, from ideation to delivery, on high-impact, enterprise-wide projects. - Stay current on new technologies and tools to continuously improve analytics capabilities and solutions. - Perform additional analytics duties as assigned to support organizational goals. Preferred Skills - Knowledge of machine learning methodologies, predictive modeling, and Bayesian inference. - Experience with big data tools, both structured and unstructured data sources, and scalable data pipelines. - Familiarity with cloud ML technologies (e.g., AWS SageMaker), machine learning environments (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn, caret), and web scraping. - Background in financial services or consumer-centric organizations. - Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Adobe Analytics/Target).
