Admissions Director

Overview:
The Pearl at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a highly organized, compassionate, and motivated Admissions Director to lead and manage the admissions process for our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). The ideal candidate will excel in customer service, communication, and coordination, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for residents, families, hospitals, and referral partners.

Admissions Director Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate the entire admissions process from referral to admission.

  • Serve as the primary contact for hospitals, referral sources, families, and prospective residents.

  • Conduct facility tours and provide clear, accurate information regarding services, rates, and clinical capabilities.

  • Review clinical documentation to determine eligibility and appropriate placement.

  • Collaborate with the Nursing, Finance, and Social Services departments to ensure accurate assessments and seamless transitions.

  • Maintain census goals and work closely with leadership to support marketing and outreach initiatives.

  • Ensure all required documentation, signatures, and insurance verifications are completed prior to admission.

  • Track and analyze referral patterns, admission data, and marketing opportunities.

  • Promote positive relationships with hospitals, community partners, and case managers.

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations related to admissions.

Admissions Director Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or healthcare admissions strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance processes required.
