Job description

Position Summary
Manage complex academic processes including registration, advisement, annual recruitment, enrollment, and admissions, study abroad programs, student focused initiatives etc. Provide input of substantive departmental issues affecting academic and student services. Interpret and apply school and University policies and procedures. Conduct undergraduate academic advising. Oversee the registration process. Interpret and implement University policies and ensure departmental compliance.
Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience:
5+ years in advising, student services, supervision, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience with program administration or operations.
Preferred Experience:
5+ years relevant experience in an academic or creative professional environment.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent written, interpersonal, and organizational skills and fine attention to detail. Ability to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds, advise and problem solve. Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and database applications including SIS.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proficiency with Adobe Suite. Knowledge of UDW+, Albert, Courseleaf Section Scheduler (CLSS), and NYUConnect
Additional Information
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $77,000.00 to USD $95,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
