Status: Full-Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of the Position: Administrative Manager provides office support for all aspects of the Prince George's County Program Office.
  • The Administrative Manager functions as the office receptionist, prepares weekly paperwork, and payroll processing. Also, maintains confidential participant and personnel records.
  • Individual must be able to work in a fast paced and demanding environment and maintain a professional manner with staff, families, and other service providers.
  • Should be organized, pay attention to detail, have good time management skills, and be computer literate (Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite- Word Processing and Spreadsheet Software)
  • Should have the ability to work well with others, be friendly and have an outgoing personality.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Associates degree in business administration is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Previous experience in an administrative or similar role
  • Proficient Computer knowledge is necessary, specific skills will be evaluated upon interview.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Knowledge of using various database type systems is helpful
  • Some understanding of insurance, and third-party billing is helpful.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Bi-Lingual/Spanish speaking is a plus.
  • Availability to work some evenings
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance coverage required.
