Job description

Engineering Administrative Assistant We are currently seeking candidates for an Engineering Administrative Assistant role with a leading telecommunications organization located in Raleigh, NC. The Engineering Administrative Assistant will support engineering teams through document coordination, administrative support, and records management activities. This is a 6-month contract position paying up to $24-$26/hour (depending on experience). This role supports a hybrid work model, consisting of 3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week in Raleigh, NC. Responsibilities:
  • Print, scan, and organize engineering drawing sets and project documents.
  • Prepare and upload sealed engineering documents for delivery.
  • Maintain electronic and physical filing systems.
  • Provide administrative support to engineering and project teams.
  • Format reports, correspondence, and technical documents.
  • Route incoming documents and respond to routine inquiries.
  • Update project logs, records, and internal documentation.
  • Assist with electronic document storage and retrieval.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide additional project and office support as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 0–2 years of administrative, office support, or internship experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment.
