POSITION SUMMARY

The Preconstruction Administration Manager oversees the administrative and coordination functions of the Preconstruction Department, ensuring seamless communication, documentation accuracy, and exceptional team support.

Reporting to senior leadership, this role manages proposal preparation, RFP/RFQ compliance, and preconstruction tracking systems while mentoring a team of Preconstruction Coordinators. The ideal candidate thrives in a detail-driven environment, balancing leadership with strong organizational and communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervise, train, and mentor Preconstruction Coordinators.

  • Manage proposal schedules, submission requirements, and compliance tracking.

  • Oversee bonding, insurance, and qualification documentation.

  • Coordinate RFQ/RFP responses with marketing and business development teams.

  • Prepare bid documents, including bid forms, bonds, MWBE participation, and corporate questionnaires.

  • Maintain department templates, standards, and preconstruction tracking tools.

  • Build and manage vendor and industry relationships.

  • Manage and represent T&G at industry events and professional organizations.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 7+ years of administrative or management experience in construction or professional services.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field.

  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Proven success managing multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders.

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

Pay: $80,000 - $100,000 / annually with potential to earn more based on performance.
