We are Hiring an Administrative Assistant!!
Job Description
The Construction Administrative Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the organization through administrative tasks, customer and company relations, as well as facility management. This position operates under the direct supervision of the Area Supervisor and is responsible for ensuring that area billing, reporting, and day-to-day office operations are organized and efficient.
Responsibilities
  • Provide support to field construction management and crews.
  • Assemble and maintain final job packages for handover to the billing team.
  • Identify and escalate issues to management as necessary.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Handle a variety of individuals from diverse socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds.
  • Utilize computer skills in programs such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Work independently and follow through on assignments.
  • Navigate fast-paced, ambiguous environments efficiently.
  • Exhibit excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Commit to achieving goals and tasks with high dedication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Associate Degree or higher is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Administrative experience is preferred.
  • Experience in the utility or construction industry is a plus.
  • Basic billing experience is beneficial.

Work Environment
The position is based in a corporate office environment with a business casual dress code. Work hours are Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 5/6 pm, with a half-day on Friday ending by 2-3 pm. The role may involve working on a construction site within a well-maintained trailer. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Pierce, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
