Description

A Warranty Administrator manages the full lifecycle of product warranty claims, acting as the liaison between customers, service departments, and manufacturers to process claims, verify coverage, and handle documentation. They ensure accurate claim submission, track parts, and maintain compliance with manufacturer policies.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Claim Processing: Accurately review, process, and submit warranty claims to manufacturers in compliance with guidelines.
  • Documentation & Tracking: Maintain detailed records of all warranty work, including parts, labor, and claim status, tracking them to final resolution.
  • Customer & Service Liaison: Verify coverage for customers, explain terms and conditions, and work with service technicians to facilitate repairs.
  • Parts Management: Order, track, and arrange for defective parts to be shipped back to manufacturers.
  • Compliance: Keep up-to-date on factory recalls, bulletins, and changing manufacturer policies.
  • Schedule: Generally full-time, with occasional overtime during peak periods.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a dealership, service department, or similar warranty-related role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with basic computer programs, CRM software, and data entry.
