Position Profile

The High School Administrative Assistant serves as a key member of the school’s administrative team, providing professional clerical and administrative support while helping foster a Christ-centered educational environment. This individual serves as the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors and is expected to demonstrate Christian character, professionalism, compassion, and a commitment to the school’s mission, vision, and values.

This position supports the daily operations of the Secondary school office, maintains accurate records, facilitates communication, and contributes to the welcoming atmosphere that reflects the love of Christ.

General Responsibilities

Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative assistance to the High School Principal and faculty.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, meeting agendas, newsletter, and other school communications.
  • Maintain calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
  • Organize and maintain office files and records.
  • Assist in fire drills
  • Provide administrative assistance for Sharetime reporting.

Student Records and Attendance

  • Maintain accurate student attendance, enrollment, and academic records.
  • Process student registrations, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • Prepare transcripts, report cards, and other student documentation as needed.
  • Monitor attendance and communicate attendance-related concerns to parents and school personnel.

Communication and Customer Service

  • Welcomes students, parents, visitors, and guests with warmth, professionalism, and Christian hospitality.
  • Answer telephone calls, emails, and inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Facilitate communication between parents, students, faculty, and administration.

Office Operations

  • Maintain office supplies
  • Assist with school events, parent meetings, and graduation activities.

Confidentiality and Professionalism
