Provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Chair and assigned faculty within the Department of Orthopaedics. Manages complex daily schedules and coordinates domestic and international travel, ensuring seamless execution of all logistical details. Prepares, edits, and transcribes a wide range of correspondence, including memos, letters, reports, and manuscripts, with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
Coordinates and executes key academic and administrative processes, including promotion and tenure, faculty recruitment, and faculty evaluations, ensuring timeliness and compliance with institutional requirements. Coordinates, executes, and supports all aspects of departmental and resident events, symposiums, and retreats, including visits from guests and speakers, as well as faculty recruitment activities.
Develops, edits, and publishes departmental newsletters, publications, manuscripts, and presentations, maintaining consistency, quality, and alignment with institutional standards.
