Job description

Administrative Assistant

Provides administrative support. Duties may include researching multiple databases, data entry, document analysis, filing, preparing outgoing mail, sorting incoming mail, and other duties as required.

Overview: 4 to 5 years of experience. Involved in a variety of administrative duties involving judgment in the application of relatively standardized administrative precedents, policies, and procedures.

Duties:

  • Enter provider enrolment information with 100% accuracy and within 3 business days.
  • Communicate professionally with clients to request additional information and follow up on those requests until the task is complete.
  • Make the supervisor aware of any questions you have about data entry before you enter the data and respond to the customer.
  • Perform filing, document storage preparation, and other administrative duties. Assist Dedicated Funds staff with special projects.
  • Analyze medical malpractice filings to verify the information is complete and accurate, and enter information in the database with 100% accuracy and within 10 business days of receipt.
  • Review incoming documents to identify information to be redacted. Determine whether they should be scanned, filed, or routed to other staff.

Required skills:

  • Prior exp. as an administrative assistant.
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Basic knowledge of computer procedures, familiarity with Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to draft email correspondence using correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain data entry accuracy and confidentiality.
