Humana Gold Plus Integrated is looking for UM Administration Coordinators to support both its Health Choice and MLTSS programs. In this position, you will help create authorizations, and work within defined parameters to identify expectations and quality standards but have some latitude over prioritization and timing. You will report to the Supervisor, UM Administration.

As a UM Administration Coordinator, you will contribute to the administration of care management by providing non-clinical support to help in the assessment and evaluation of members' needs. Tasks include administrative, operational, and customer support assignments.

This is a hybrid home position, requiring work in our Schaumburg, Illinois office 1 day per month. Work hours will be Monday-Friday 8am-5pm CST with flexible scheduling (occasional nights and weekends).

Required Qualifications

  • Must reside in the Greater Chicago area/suburban Cook or nearby surrounding counties in the State of Illinois.
  • 2+ years of administrative support experience in the healthcare industry.
  • 1+ years of customer service experience.
  • Prior billing/claims or authorization experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates degree or higher
  • Experience with Medicaid, Long-term Care, or Medicare members
  • Proficient using electronic medical record and documentation programs
  • Experience with medical terminology and ICD-10 codes
  • Experience with Utilization Review and Prior Authorization within a managed care organization

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
