Job description

BASIC POSITION DUTIES:  Supports all HR functions for SV/FR locations including SEWS recruiting and orientation, coordinates openings with staffing companies, policy administration, associate relations, associate communications (one-on-one with associates as well as in groups), FMLA/ Leave administration, supports company functions and wellness activities. 
 
  • Assist coordinators and managers with associate issues, corrective action, investigation, etc.
  • Benefits:  help associates with benefits related questions and enrollment.
  • Manage all marketing aspects for SV/FR locations:  order signage, attend job fairs, social media postings, etc.  Participate in outside programs such as SKYFAME, SHRM, City of Franklin and Scottsville activities, etc.
  • Handle temporary staffing requests, track headcount and other data, inform TKA who will be starting, etc.
  • Wellness Program:  advocates programs, communicate activities and administrative process.
  • Present new hire orientation and monthly plant meetings
  • Manage FMLA process- utilizing TPA and following up with associates.
  • Position Postings - post internal and external job postings.  Utilize JobVite, track openings/ awarded jobs.
  • Selection:  recruit, review applications/ resumes, schedule and participate in interviews, make offers.
  • Wellness Program:  advocate programs, communicate activities and administrative process
  • Maintain accurate HR records, including but not limited to, personnel, benefits, personnel change forms, etc
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree plus 8-10 years progressive experience including 2-4 years as Superintendent or similar supervisory capacity.  Highly skilled in oral and written communications.  High levels of confidentiality.  Intermediate skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and data entry.  Knowledge of ADP system a plus.
