Job description

The Administrative Assistant will support the daily operations within the warehouse. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager and play a key part in ensuring efficient workflow, accurate data management, and smooth coordination of warehouse activities.

Job Functions

Maintain and update data accurately in Microsoft Excell and internal systems.

Print, organize, and distribute work orders for warehouse operations.

Assign incoming and outgoing orders to the appropriate dock doors.

Provide general administrative support to the warehouse team and to management.

Assist in coordinating daily workflow and ensuring timely processing of orders.

Communicate effectively with warehouse staff regarding assignments and updates.

Perform other tasks as needed as support warehouse operations. Including but limited to:

Labeling inventory and materialsScanning items and documentation

Counting and verifying inventory locations.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other basic computer skills.

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Bilingual a bonus but not required

At least 18 years of age.

Previous warehouse or administrative experience preferred.

Working Conditions

Dock environment; non-climate controlled, exhaust, fumes, dust, loud noise, heavy moving equipment.

May require occasional lifting, standing, bending, and walking.

This position is based in a warehouse setting and requires regular interaction with both office and warehouse personnel.
