Description:

Hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, Monday – Friday, + on-call for some weekends.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Depending on prior related working experience.


Your Purpose will be:

The person in this position will provide primary facilities support at our West Jordan Financial Center location (FC1), with other facilities support company-wide, at all locations. Basic duties include security software and practical administration, and managing facilities request tickets company wide. Also, every employee is responsible for fulfilling our Mission Statement: We elevate our members’ financial experience through best-in-class Service and Solutions. This is accomplished primarily through giving superior support to our member facing teams.


What you’ll do:

  • Manage Facilities request tickets companywide; Address items as appropriate, including, Scheduling vendors, dispatch field personnel, or redirect to other departments. Then, update tickets as needed, and close tickets when complete. Request tickets include, but are not limited to:
  1. Building maintenance/repair requests.
  2. Site maintenance/repair requests.
  3. Supply requests.
  4. Vending requests and quality control reports.
  5. Janitorial requests and concerns.
  6. Security concerns and repairs.
  7. Vehicle maintenance requests/records.
  8. Access control badge needs.
  • Review Field closed tickets for complete information.
  • Review companywide cameras for operation, position, and clarity daily.
  • Compile, place, and distribute FC1 office supply orders, including FC1 Printer toner orders as needed.
  • Back up in receiving and distributing FC1 deliveries.
  • Provide support to FC1 personnel for housekeeping needs when necessary.
  • Assist in branch security reviews.
  • Assist in the production and maintenance of building security reference documents.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and drilling.
  • Participate in administration to alarm and access control software.
  • Participate in administration to video management software.
  • Provide backup administration to FC1 Building Maintenance System (BMS) control software.
  • Provide back up administration to FC1 lighting control software.
  • Act as primary alarm response during business hours.
  • Print, activate, and distribute new employee access badges.
  • Apply user access permissions to new employees, employee transfers, and terminated employees.
  • Print and distribute replacement employee access badges.
  • Coordinate and maintain access control and alarm access for U of U branch employees.
  • Activate, log and deactivate temporary access badges for all locations.
  • Provide administration to fleet vehicle management.
  • Maintain Facilities Vendor Service Maintenance calendar.
  • Update appointments dates and times.
  • Schedule future intervals.
  • Communicate with branches.
  • Assist in vendor contract reviews and comparison quotes.
  • Maintain Facilities tool inventory records and schedule maintenance.
  • Participate in companywide on-call alarm response rotation.
  • Provide physical field support and/or coverage when necessary.
  • Help move material and/or equipment.
  • All other tasks as assigned by management.
  • Understands the Bank Secrecy Act and how it is applied.

Requirements:

The experience you need to succeed:

  • Prefer 2+ years of similar or related experience.
  • High school diploma or GED. 
  • Be proficient with business machinery and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working with Microsoft 365 and Bluebeam applications preferable.
  • Good communication and customer service abilities. 

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Works primarily in an office building environment, with occasional trips into field environment locations. This includes but is not limited to various outdoor and indoor climates, public venues, and driving conditions.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly need to: see, talk, hear, and perform repetitive movements with arms, hands, and fingers to handle, feel, grasp, and reach. A computer, phone possibly including a smart phone, and standard office equipment are normal tools for this position. Specific vision abilities that may be required by this job include close vision and distance vision. The employee may at times also need to: climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Handling greater weights when needed to be performed with the assistance of equipment.
