About the role:
MV Transportation is seeking an IT Applications Admin Mgr to serve as a critical link between enterprise strategy and division-level execution. This role is responsible for driving successful adoption, optimization, and ongoing performance of technology, processes, and operational standards across transit locations.
The IT Applications Admin Mgr partners closely with local division leadership to ensure each location is equipped to deliver first-class service, operational excellence, and scalable performance.
About the team:
As part of the Division Enablement Team, you will be central in delivering consistent, scalable, high-performing operations across all divisions. You will play a key role in enabling the success of both our technology investments and our service delivery, directly impacting operational performance and client satisfaction nationwide.
Functional Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact supporting assigned divisions
  • Lead recurring engagements with division leadership to review operational performance and system utilization
  • Provide hands-on guidance across dispatch, scheduling, maintenance, and technology usage
  • Ensure divisions are fully leveraging enterprise tools and systems
  • Monitor and improve key operational performance indicators
  • Analyze performance trends and identify root causes of issues
  • Develop reporting and present insights to division and corporate leadership
  • Support new division startups, client implementations, and system rollouts
  • Translate enterprise initiatives into division-level processes and playbooks
  • Ensure readiness through training, documentation, and stakeholder alignment
  • Drive consistent adoption of new tools and operational changes across divisions

Qualifications
Talent Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in transit operations and transportation technology
  • Very strong understanding of dispatch, scheduling, or paratransit systems
  • Background in IT systems, implementation support, or operational analytics
  • Experience supporting go-lives or large-scale change initiatives
  • Proven ability to analyze operational data and drive performance improvements
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Detail-oriented with a proven history as a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal presentation and written communication skills with ability to present to all levels of the organization
  • Ability to be influential and establish positive working relationships across the organization
  • Outstanding organizational and effective time management skills
