Job description

Position Overview

Our client is seeking an HR Administrator to support their Human Resources team with a variety of back-office administrative projects and day-to-day HR operations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, supporting HR documentation, completing data entry, and assisting with ongoing HR projects.

This position plays an important role in keeping HR processes organized and efficient and requires a high level of attention to detail, confidentiality, organization, and follow-through.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation
  • Perform data entry and ensure employee information is accurate within HR systems
  • Assist with HRIS updates, employee data changes, and record maintenance
  • Support onboarding and offboarding documentation and administrative processes
  • Organize, review, and audit employee files for accuracy and completeness
  • Assist with benefits, payroll, and employee documentation as needed
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other HR-related tracking documents
  • Support compliance projects and ensure required documentation is properly maintained
  • Assist with document scanning, filing, record retention, and other administrative projects
  • Provide support to the HR team with special projects and back-office initiatives as needed

Qualifications

  • 1–3+ years of administrative or Human Resources experience preferred
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Experience working with HRIS or other employee management systems preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and overall technical proficiency
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and data-entry skills
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information appropriately
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently in a project-focused, administrative environment
