Job Description:

We’re looking for someone who is an enthusiastic people person who loves to exceed customer expectations by delivering exceptional service. Passionate for craft beer and customer engagement.

  • Perform customer facing duties in a high-end, craft beer centric tasting room
  • Greet and quickly but courteously serve customers
  • Administer proper ID checks
  • Understand and be able to explain craft beer styles
  • Know the Oyster City brands and how they fit consumers
  • Educate new craft beer consumers
  • Give beer selection advice and background
  • Accurately enter and manage orders, receive payment, and make proper change
  • Maintain tasting room before, during, and after service
  • Arrive before start of service and perform opening duties
  • Check bathroom and common area supplies
  • Perform maintenance during service
  • Assist with clearing and resetting tables
  • Gather, and properly clean and store glassware
  • Stay after service to perform closing duties
  • Assist with beer back up
  • Provide support at various festivals, events, and tastings

Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand and move for long periods
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Always represent the company in an upstanding and professional manner
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
